How to Participate
To receive the 80% royalty rate promotion, you must submit your audiobook for distribution between May 1 and November 30, 2024.
Your audiobook project is submitted for distribution once you have:
1. Completed all of the necessary fields in the audiobook project, and clicked “Submit For Review.”
2. Received the “Audiobook Submitted” pop-up.
Note: Once your audiobook is submitted, our team will review your submission and set your project to an 80% royalty rate.

How do I receive the promotion?
All users who submit a new audiobook project between May 1 and November 30, 2024, will automatically receive 80% of royalties for that audiobook. No additional steps are required.
I submitted my audiobook project during the promotion. Why does the website say my project’s royalty rate is 70%, not 80%?
Since this is a special promotion, your audiobook project’s royalty rate may not be immediately reflected on the site. However, once your project is reviewed by our team, you should see an updated royalty rate of 80% when viewing the project details.
Does my project have to be created during the promotion in order to receive the 80%?
No, your project does not need to be created within the promotional timeframe. However, it must be newly submitted for distribution within the promotion timeframe. If you created your project before May 1 but it is not yet submitted for distribution, your audiobook is still eligible for the promotion.
Will 80% apply to my whole catalog?
No, the 80% will only apply to your new audiobooks submitted during the promotional timeframe.
Does my audiobook need to be produced using Author’s Republic to receive the 80% royalty rate?
No. Audiobooks do not need to be produced through the Author’s Republic Studio to participate. You will receive 80% of royalties for any audiobook distributed through Author’s Republic in the promotional timeframe.
Does the 80% royalty rate change after the promotion ends?
No! The audiobooks that you submit during this promotion will remain at 80% even after the promotion ends.
Does my audiobook need to be approved by November 30th to receive the 80% royalty rate?
No, simply submit your audiobook for review to qualify for the promotion.
Does my audiobook need to be live on retailer sites by November 30th to receive the 80% royalty rate?
No, simply submit your audiobook for review to qualify for the promotion.
Does my audiobook qualify if I submitted it before May 1st?
No. This promotion only applies to audiobook projects submitted during the promotional timeframe. In order to qualify, this must be the first time your project has been submitted for distribution. If your project was sent back to you for edits, resubmission will not qualify that project for the promotion.
